Jacob is a Founder and Partner of Rosser Capital Partners. Prior to joining Rosser Capital Partners, he was a Managing Director of Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. where he worked since 2003. While at Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., Jacob was responsible for evaluating, executing, monitoring and exiting numerous consumer transactions including AMF Bowling, The Marshall Retail Group, Corner Bakery, Bravo Brio Restaurant Group, Logan's Roadhouse and Ruth's Hospitality Group. Prior to joining Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., Jacob worked in the Financial Sponsor Group at Lehman Brothers from 2000 to 2002.
Jacob received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
Jacob currently serves as a Director of Hickory Tavern Holdings and Skillets Holdings. He was formerly a Director of Logan's Roadhouse, Il Fornaio / Corner Bakery, The Marshall Retail Group, Modern Market, Barteca Holdings and PetPeople Holdings.
Jacob lives in New York City with his wife Aly and two young daughters.
Hal is a Founder and Managing Partner of Rosser Capital Partners. Prior to joining Rosser Capital Partners, Hal co-founded and served as Managing Director of Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. and previously was a Managing Director at Citicorp Venture Capital. During his 25 plus year investing career, Hal has originated, evaluated, monitored and exited numerous consumer transactions including 19 investments in the restaurant industry. Prior to joining Citicorp Venture Capital, Hal held various management and corporate finance positions at Citicorp / Citibank from 1975 to 1986.
Hal received a Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University. In addition, Hal completed Management Development Programs at Carnegie-Mellon University and the Stanford University Business School.
Hal currently serves as a Director of Hickory Tavern Holdings, Charlie Palmer Steak and Skillets Holdings. He was formerly a Director of Steak & Ale Restaurants, Davco, Corral America, Restaurant Associates, Head & Enquist, B&G Foods, California Pizza Kitchen, Real Mex, Penhall, Au Bon Pain, Il Fornaio / Corner Bakery, McCormick & Schmick's, The Marshall Retail Group, Bravo Brio Restaurant Group, Logan's Roadhouse, Ruth's Hospitality Group, Barteca Holdings and PetPeople Holdings. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Culinary Institute of America, Wake Forest University and the New Canaan Society.
Hal lives in Naples, FL and New Canaan, CT with his wife Rita. He also has three young grandchildren that he is very proud of.
